Yardi Announces New LOBOS Install at the Seagram Building in New York

Thursday, September 24, 2015

Enerliance’s parent company, Yardi, announced today via an internationally distributed press release that they have entered into an agreement with RFR Realty, LLC to implement LOBOS technology at the Seagram Building, 375 Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan.

The Seagram Building, designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Philip Johnson, and completed in 1958, is one of the most iconic structures in New York. Standing at 38 stories, the office tower is a city landmark and is considered to be a paragon of modernist architecture.

“Satisfying our highly sophisticated tenant base is the key to increasing property worth and long-term value for the Seagram Building. LOBOS will help us accomplish that by increasing tenant comfort and energy efficiency concurrently,” said Gerard Schumm, executive vice president for RFR.

LOBOS’s energy efficiency, demand response and fault detection and diagnostic functionality will continuously monitor cooling, heating and air handling systems in the 910,000-square-foot building while automating demand response and providing real-time feedback. The anticipated results are increased tenant comfort and new levels of energy efficiency.
