Come See Us at the 2013 Cleantech OC Conference and Expo

Monday, September 9, 2013

CleanTech OC is holding its fourth annual conference and expo Monday, September 16, 2013 at the Hyatt Regency Irvine, and Enerliance is proud to announce our nomination for this year’s Company of the Year Award. Naturally, we are honored to be considered, but we are even more excited about our CEO, Scot Duncan’s invitation to participate as an expert on the 3:00-4:15pm Panel 4 Discussion: The Intersection of Energy Efficiency, Building Intelligence & Smart Grid.

Slated to participate with Scot in this panel discussion are experts from Southern California Edison and the Irvine Company: Mark Martinez, Manager, DSM Strategy and Policy, Southern California Edison; Erron Williams, Senior Director of Engineering Operations, Irvine Company. The panel will also include Michel Kamel, CEO, MelRok; and moderator and demand response industry expert, Peter Weigand, CEO, Skipping Stone.

Ever Had Your IBCon Badge Scanned with the Promise of a Fabulous Prize? We Scan and Deliver!

Thursday, September 5, 2013

On June 12th-13th Enerliance attended IBCon 2013 in Orlando Florida. The event is the largest gathering of authorities and experts within the Intelligent Building Industry. It was a fantastic opportunity to network with a community that shared the same passions as us. We were honored to have two of our projects selected as featured case studies during the conference.

We had a great time; we met a lot of interesting people; we learned all about new technology, and most importantly, we had a chance to show off LOBOS.

Wednesday, August 7, 2013

Following the opening of our new headquarters facility in February, we continue to position Enerliance for rapid expansion by growing our team of professionals.

Experts in building automation, HVAC, energy solutions and product development have joined us at a pivotal time, as we shift from research and development to marketing and distribution of our LOBOS building efficiency and demand response platform nationwide.

We’re Up For a Digie Award At IBCON This Week

Monday, June 10, 2013

The Oscars may have passed, but in the world of intelligent buildings, awards season is in full swing. We were thrilled to learn just this morning that Enerliance has been named as a finalist for a Digie award at IBCON this week (June 11-13th in Orlando) in the category of “Smart Building Technology Innovation.”

It might seem like an awards-show cliche to talk up your fellow nominees, but in this case we really are in some very fine company. The other two finalists in our category are Project Haystack  (the project behind the excellent Haystack Connect conference we attended in May) and our good friends at Lynxspring. We’re honored to have LOBOS named alongside them.

Department of Energy

Enerliance CEO Participates in Department of Energy FDD Workshop at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory

Monday, June 3, 2013

Berkeley, CA –  Enerliance CEO Scot Duncan was invited to participate in a workshop hosted by the Department of Energy Building Technologies Program, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and Navigant Consulting. The goal of the workshop was to get feedback from building intelligence and energy solutions thought leaders on the OpenEIS Fault Detection and Diagnostics (FDD) concept.

Scot, along with representatives from IBM, Trane, United Technology Research Center, The California State University System, Duke Realty and others attended the day-long workshop at LBNL at the end of February.

Company President

Enerliance Welcomes A New Company President

Friday, May 17, 2013

We’re thrilled to announce a new member of our executive team. Raymond Pustinger has become Enerliance’s new company president.

Ray is no stranger to Enerliance. In fact, he’s been a member of the Enerliance advisory board since 2011. As president, Ray’s going to be leading our rapid expansion as we move past the research and development phase of LOBOS, into its stage as a product in the energy solutions marketplace.

Haystack Connect 2013 Wrapup

Tuesday, May 14, 2013

A couple weeks ago, Enerliance got to attend the first annual Haystack Connect conference. We went because we support the goals of Project Haystack – and because we saw it as an opportunity to connect with other companies who are moving the building controls and intelligence industry forward.

The conference was great on a number of levels, but the most exciting part for us was getting to spend time with the community of innovators. The people who are helping to build the intelligent buildings of tomorrow.

Watch Scot’s Haystack Connect Presentation

Tuesday, May 14, 2013

A few weeks ago at Haystack Connect, Enerliance CEO Scot Duncan was a speaker in one of the conference’s sessions titled Focus on Energy. For his part of the presentation, Scot talked about DCx (Dynamic Commissioning), and how it’s helped LOBOS to achieve significant energy savings. If you’re interested in the technical details behind how our LOBOS systems work, this video is a great place to start.

4 Reasons We’re Excited About The New Enerliance HQ

Thursday, May 9, 2013

A couple months ago we moved into our brand new Enerliance headquarters in Irvine. Our new HQ is a great building that gives our rapidly growing company room to grow.

That room to grow is the most obvious benefit of the move, but today we thought we’d share a few of the less obvious benefits of being in our new offices.

Green Team

Enerliance Honored as Green Team Member by OC Metro Magazine

Tuesday, May 7, 2013

April 10th marked a milestone for Enerliance. We were honored by OC Metro Magazine, along with ten other companies and organizations, as members of the 2013 Green Team. At the Orange County Great Park, we were treated to a beautiful reception, recognized by Steve Churm – Vice President of the OC Metro, and were inspired by the keynote speech from Richard King of the U.S. Department of Energy.

We have been fortunate to have the commercial facilities, energy solutions, and building intelligence communities respond so positively to our flagship product (LOBOS). It is very exciting to have the local mainstream press notice our past success and future promise.
