Enerliance Accepts PLMA Spring Conference Award on Behalf of Kilroy Realty

Tuesday, April 15, 2014

One of our partners in sustainability recently received an award for their demand response efforts! And they requested Enerliance president Ray Pustinger to accept it on their behalf. How cool is that?

Kilroy Realty and its vice president of sustainability, Sara Neff, were recognized on April 15, 2014 at the PLMA Spring Conference in Denver, Colorado as recipients of one of seven 11th Annual PLMA Awards. These awards recognize leading energy utility demand response initiatives, and Kilroy Realty is receiving theirs for Outstanding Demand Response Customer. In 2013, Kilroy Realty installed and enrolled 1.6 MW of automated demand response capacity in the SCE service area across six buildings, totaling one million square feet.

We’re honored to receive this award on behalf of the team over at Kilroy, and it feels good to know that our LOBOS technology is helping them participate in the automated demand response programs so critical to Southern California’s grid stability. We look forward to expanding on Kilroy’s 2013 SCE projects and are preparing for additional 2014 demand response and energy efficiency projects, not just with SCE, but SDG&E and PG&E as well.

Sara Neff and her team at Kilroy are industry leaders, and we’re thrilled to support their efforts and the progress that results. Here’s a photo of Enerliance president Ray Pustinger with the chair of the PLMA awards committee and fellow award winners:

Enerliance Collaborates with the LBL and the DOE to Produce an Award-Winning Webinar

Tuesday, February 18, 2014

It’s not every day that Enerliance wins accolades of this caliber, so we just had to share.

Back in January, we collaborated with the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab (LBL) and the Department of Energy (DOE) on a webinar presentation to their Energy Management Information Systems team. The EMIS team had previously identified LOBOS as a “technology of interest” and subsequently asked us to develop a concise overview and live demonstration to be delivered to an expert audience via webinar.
